Role: Software Product Acquisition Manager

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76101 (Onsite)

What You Will Do

As the Software Product Acquisition Manager, you will oversee supplier software development efforts, influence technical decisions, and ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of software products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide engineering management and technical oversight of supplier software development activities for the EO/IR IPT
• Coordinate supplier software deliveries and provide regular project status updates to Program Management
• Manage Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPAR) metrics and support issue investigation and resolution
• Maintain EO/IR data within the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) and associated flight‑series data modules
• Update and publish EO/IR Interface Requirements Specifications and message format definitions using the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a STEM‑related technical discipline
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated discipline and experience with software development processes and methodologies
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience using JIRA
• Supplier or subcontractor technical management experience
• Minimum of 5 years of prior software development experience using one or more of the following languages:
• C, C++, C#, and/or Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools such as JIRA, SW Depot, CART, and Automet
• Experience working with SIMS
• Experience managing or coordinating supplier technical performance
