Position: Restaurant/Retail Project Manager
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee Draftspersons and Assistant Project Managers.
Communicate effectively with clients, building officials, landlords, and consultants.
Manage and coordinate multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
Review and ensure compliance with state and local building codes.
Conduct site surveys as needed.
Prepare layouts and architectural drawings based on client requirements.
Coordinate and review drawings to meet project specifications.
Utilize AutoCAD and related software to develop layouts and diagrams.
Research landlord requirements and consult technical guidelines.
Prepare documents for project authorization and bidding processes.
Maintain organized project files and survey reports.
Provide architectural support across multiple projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
5–10 years of experience in retail/restaurant design.
Minimum 2 years as an Assistant PM or Job Captain in an architectural firm.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (3D design skills required).
Working knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, or Illustrator preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience drafting retail or commercial construction documents.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
