Medical Assistant – Full-Time (M–F, 8 AM–5 PM)
Location: Denton, TX 76201
Work Setting: Outpatient clinic
Rate: $20.00 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA/RMA) to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant will perform a wide range of clinical and administrative duties within the MA scope of practice, including:
Clinical Support & Patient Care
Perform all responsibilities within the certified Medical Assistant scope of practice.
Support physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and nurses during patient care activities.
Prepare and organize exam rooms and maintain a clean, efficient clinical environment.
Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and documentation.
Procedures & Diagnostic Support
Perform patient‑oriented procedures and administer medications as permitted under MA scope.
Operate diagnostic equipment (without interpreting results).
Conduct EKGs, collect specimens (noninvasive and via venipuncture/capillary), and obtain cultures.
Remove staples from superficial wounds and change wound dressings.
Perform quality control checks on clinical equipment.
Prepare and sterilize medical instruments using an autoclave.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA or RMA) – required.
BLS certification at time of hire.
Basic computer literacy with intermediate Excel skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Schedule & Work Details
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Days: Monday through Friday
Travel: No travel required; no multi‑site rotation.
Home Visits: None
Dress Code: Navy blue or grey scrubs
