Job Description
We are seeking experienced HCC Coders for a temporary coding project supporting a regional market. This role does not require a coding assessment and is open to qualified remote candidates. The ideal candidate will have strong risk adjustment experience and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HCC / Risk Adjustment coding reviews accurately and efficiently
- Apply ICD‑10‑CM and risk adjustment coding guidelines appropriately
- Review and code medical records using designated EMR platforms
- Maintain quality and productivity standards throughout the assignment
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
- Active CPC certification (AAPC)
- Apprenticeship (CPC‑A) credentials are not accepted
- 1–2 years of HCC / Risk Adjustment coding experience
- Experience working with EMR systems (please include EMRs used on resume)
- Strong knowledge of ICD‑10‑CM coding guidelines
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
