Job Title: Local Events Coordinator
Position Overview
The Local Events Coordinator supports the coordination, administration, and analysis of local and regional events. This role partners closely with the salesforce and Sales Operations team to ensure event activities are executed efficiently, compliantly, and with clear visibility into outcomes. The position also plays a key role in process improvement, system support, and event impact reporting, helping inform future event planning and investment decisions.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working cross‑functionally. They possess strong administrative and communication skills and are confident supporting and training the sales force on internal event processes and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Event Administration
- Support the coordination and execution of local and regional events.
- Assist with the review, processing, and tracking of event‑related contracts and payments.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, timelines, and documentation requirements.
Sales Force Support & Training
- Train and guide the sales force on internal processes and requirements related to local and regional events.
- Serve as a point of contact for questions regarding event procedures, documentation, and approvals.
Process & Systems Improvement
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Operations team to enhance system interfaces, reporting capabilities, and operational workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements that increase transparency and operational effectiveness.
Event Impact Analysis & Reporting
- Track key event metrics and assist in analyzing event outcomes and engagement data.
- Support reporting efforts to evaluate the effectiveness of events and inform future planning and investment decisions.
Executive Encounter Coordination
- Organize and support executive encounters during congresses and large events.
- Coordinate schedules, manage logistics, and help facilitate professional interactions between sales teams, executives, and customers.
- Ensure meetings run smoothly and reflect a high standard of professionalism.
Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of business experience, preferably in an administrative, sales support, operations, or events‑related role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting a sales force or commercial organization.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective presentation and training capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong decision‑making and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on data and metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
- Strong time management, multitasking, flexibility, and professional communication skills.
