Job Title: Analyst – Contracts and Pricing
Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone hours)
Duration: 06+ Months
About the Role The Analyst – Contracts and Pricing is responsible for evaluating and implementing pricing strategies, conducting competitive analysis, and supporting contract and pricing dispute resolution. This role partners with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance to align pricing programs with product strategy and revenue requirements. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based on market dynamics.
Conduct research and competitive pricing analysis.
Monitor competitive environment to ensure practices align with customer satisfaction and company reputation.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to position product portfolio and establish pricing programs.
Evaluate opportunities to monetize products or create upsell opportunities.
Project impacts of pricing changes, promotions, and rebate programs on revenue.
Create and administer pricing databases; coordinate implementation of pricing proposals.
Manage SAP price dispute cases across business units, investigating and resolving requests.
Support Customer Solutions team members during price dispute reviews.
Collect and analyze data from internal systems to provide dispute analysis (volume, root cause, approved/denied amounts).
Ensure 90% of cases are completed within the 30‑day SLA.
Provide expedited support for escalations and urgent requests.
Train and guide internal business partners on processes and systems.
Support contract audit requests with documentation.
Continuously review processes and technology to identify improvement opportunities.
Manage relationships with peers in internal client organizations (Contracting, Finance, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Experience with SAP and pricing systems preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
