Pay rate: $50/hr on W2

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer II / DevOps Engineer to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure across both on‑premises and cloud (AWS) environments. This role focuses on cloud infrastructure development, automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and system performance optimization, while collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, demonstrates ownership of complex systems, and contributes to the design, reliability, and scalability of critical platforms.

Key Technical Priorities (In Order of Importance)

• Create and modify AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, APIs, and related services
• Develop and manage Jenkins jobs to support automated deployments and service management
• Configure and support Apache and Nginx web servers
• Build and maintain Docker containers to support vendor and development needs

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• AWS (certification preferred, not required)
• Linux system administration (Windows experience a plus)
• Git‑based version control (Git, Bitbucket, Stash)
• Scripting with Bash and Python
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, CircleCI
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS
• Databases: MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Agile tools: Jira, ServiceNow, Redmine
• Strong understanding of networking and infrastructure fundamentals

Experience & Education

• 3–5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or DevOps roles
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
