About the Role

We are seeking a Business Execution Specialist with strong SDLC and large‑scale enterprise experience to support release management activities within a dynamic technology environment. In this role, you will manage release‑related Change Requests, evaluate moderately complex business and technical challenges, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and high‑quality execution.

You will leverage your understanding of business processes, compliance standards, and technology systems to contribute to planning, analysis, and operational execution. This position requires strong decision‑making skills, a data‑driven mindset, and the ability to maintain composure and leadership in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

Release & Change Management

• Create, manage, and track release‑related Change Requests in ServiceNow.
• Ensure timely approvals and alignment with release schedules.
• Plan, coordinate, and deploy weekly and expedited (“on demand”) releases on a rotational schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Support key ServiceNow release management activities, including:
  • Patching
  • Cloning
  • Upgrades
  • Drafting and distributing key notifications
  • Participating in AGILE/JIRA standups and story tracking
• Manage communication and coordination across business, technology, and build teams.

Business & Technology Execution

• Lead or participate in technology initiatives addressing simple to moderately complex business problems.
• Contribute to the design of cost‑effective systems and processes that meet business requirements.
• Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges requiring in‑depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver comprehensive technology solutions.
• Act as an internal consultant using quality frameworks, process improvement, and technology re‑engineering.
• Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and cross‑team information flow.

Environment & Operational Management

• Maintain environment integrity across development, testing, and production tiers.
• Support operational readiness activities and incident‑related escalations where needed.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience OR equivalent (work experience, training, military, or education).
• 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience OR equivalent background.
• Proven experience working within SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) environments.
• Prior experience working in large financial services organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to make risk‑based decisions using factual data in a fast‑paced setting.
• Experience opening and managing Change Requests.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders (“must have backbone”).

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow experience, especially within ITSM modules.
• SDLC Tracker experience.
• Agile methodology experience, including JIRA.
• Experience with:
  • Enterprise Change Management
  • Enterprise Incident Management
• Ability to lead effective meetings (Teams) with large, cross‑functional groups.
• Proven track record building rapport with ServiceNow platform teams and build resources.
