Position: Systems Engineer

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong holistic and analytical thinking skills to support system design, requirements development, integration, and verification activities for advanced integration programs. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze, define, and document system requirements using Cameo and/or DOORS.

· Support system architecture development by utilizing tools such as Cameo to analyze and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and design elements.

· Develop and maintain verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audits (FCA).

· Contribute to end-to-end system lifecycle activities, from requirements decomposition through integration and verification.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another STEM-related discipline.

· Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience using Cameo for MBSE activities.

· Solid understanding of system design principles, trade studies, and architecture development.

· Ability and willingness to work onsite in a controlled laboratory or engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with C++, MATLAB, or Python.

· Understanding of missile system fundamentals or similar complex systems (preferred but not required).

· Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) or other defense-related engineering programs.

· Interest in learning detailed system theory related to missile, ground systems, or fire control operations.
