Title: Sr. .NET API Support Engineer

Summary:
Looking for an Application Support Engineer to work on a API Integration engineering team. Person will play a critical hybrid role that sits between development, operations, and end users/internal teams.

Job Duties:
Pre‑Launch & Implementation Support
1.Participate in design reviews to understand:
- Gateway architecture (e.g., Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure APIM)
- Authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS)
- Rate limiting, throttling, and quotas
- Logging, monitoring, alerting
- Error handling standards
- SLA/SLO expectations
3.Review API specs (OpenAPI/Swagger) for clarity, consistency, and supportability
4.Prepare runbooks for common failure scenarios
Environment & Deployment Support
1. Assist with environment setup
- Dev / QA / Staging / Prod
- Gateway configuration as code
- Automated testing coverage
3.Verify configuration changes
- Routing rules
- Policy updates
- Security changes
- Moving traffic from legacy gateways or direct APIs
Monitoring, Observability & Alerting
Incident Response & Troubleshooting
- Coordinate With:
- API developers
- Platform/SRE teams
- Security teams
Developer & Consumer Support
- Support engineers help by:
- Answering internal developer questions:
- Helping teams onboard to the gateway
- Debugging client integration issues
- Supporting key consumers during launches
- Internal developer portals
- API documentation platforms
- Sample requests and troubleshooting guides
