Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support our organization’s data governance, quality, and usability initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex information challenges, collaborating across teams, and driving continuous improvement in how information is managed and consumed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform information profiling, cleansing, and validation to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Develop and maintain quality rules, metrics, and dashboards to monitor performance.
- Collaborate with data stewards, business units, and internal teams to address information quality and usability concerns.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Evaluate information usability by assessing accessibility, relevance, completeness, and interpretability for end users.
- Extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured information using analytical tools and techniques.
- Translate business requirements into queries, reports, and visualizations that support strategic initiatives.
- Support the implementation of quality tools, automation processes, and governance frameworks.
- Document information quality and usability processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist in developing quality standards and best practices aligned with organizational governance principles.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in analysis, information management, or information quality roles.
- Proficiency with Excel and Power BI.
- Familiarity with quality and governance tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Collibra.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and clearly present findings.
- Understanding of information usability concepts including accessibility, context, and user experience.
- Knowledge of governance principles and information lifecycle management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical and business stakeholders.
