About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Identity & Security Engineer to join our team and lead efforts around identity and access management, network security, and emerging threat mitigation. This is a hands-on technical role that requires strong independent judgment, excellent communication, and deep experience with modern identity federation and infrastructure security tools.
Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions using PingFederate, PingID, and PingAccess
· Monitor new and emerging security threats from various sources and assist in creating product detection mechanisms
· Manage and troubleshoot containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
· Implement and maintain security technologies including L2/L3 firewalls, application layer security, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, DDoS mitigation, and VPN/VoIP security
· Perform network trace analysis and troubleshooting to ensure the highest levels of system assurance
· Support wireless security, traffic profiling, anomaly detection, and penetration testing initiatives
· Collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining strong documentation and communication practices
Minimum Qualifications
· 5–8 years of hands-on experience in identity management and/or security engineering
· Proven hands-on experience with PingFederate (PingFed, PingID, PingAccess)
· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container technologies
· Working knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
· Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· 2–5 years of security implementation experience
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with HYPR, Affirm, or passwordless authentication technologies
· Familiarity with spyware/malcode tools and wireless security protocols
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with a self-starter mindset
