Packaging Lead
Overview
Seeking a Lead Packaging Technician to oversee packaging line performance, ensure equipment reliability, and provide daily leadership for technicians and operators.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment; perform repairs as needed.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities.
- Train, supervise, and support technicians and operators.
- Monitor line efficiency and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and uphold safety and quality standards.
Mandatory Equipment Experience
Candidates must have hands‑on experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting:
- Hayssen Vertical Form/Fill/Seal Machine
- Ishida Combination Scale
Qualifications
- 3+ years in packaging or manufacturing; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; ability to read technical documentation.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS.
- Effective communication and team leadership skills.
