- Robbie Kissinger
The Oracle Fusion Consultant will work directly with executive leadership to design and actively execute a multi-year roadmap that positions Oracle Fusion as the operational backbone of the company. This role is both strategic and deeply hands-on: the consultant will not simply manage the process but will personally drive configuration, solution design, and implementation activities to ensure Fusion is deployed in a way that unifies processes, strengthens data integrity, and supports scalable growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to define the long-term vision for Oracle Fusion as the central platform for company operations, then translate that vision into an actionable, execution-ready roadmap.
- Lead the development of a detailed transformation plan, including sequencing, dependencies, resource needs, and change-management strategies — and take an active role in carrying out each phase.
- Conduct discovery sessions with business owners to understand current processes and future-state needs, then directly configure and prototype Fusion solutions that address those needs.
- Evaluate existing systems and workflows to identify where Fusion can streamline, automate, or consolidate operations, and personally implement those improvements.
- Provide hands-on support for the rollout of Fusion modules (Financials, Procurement, HCM, SCM, etc.), including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and refinement.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as process maps, configuration workbooks, and governance frameworks, ensuring they reflect real, implemented solutions rather than theoretical designs.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data migration, integrations, and reporting strategies are not only planned but executed with precision.
- Lead or support user acceptance testing, training, and adoption activities, stepping in directly to resolve issues and accelerate progress.
- Monitor Oracle quarterly releases and proactively implement relevant enhancements that support the roadmap.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, providing clear communication, risk assessments, and solution recommendations — backed by hands-on delivery..
- Ability to focus on ongoing operations management, long term strategic planning and compliance readiness (ITGC,s Sox, etc.)
Qualifications
- Proven experience implementing and optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications across multiple modules.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership while also rolling up sleeves to execute configuration, testing, and deployment work.
- Strong understanding of enterprise business processes (finance, HR, supply chain, procurement, or operations).
- Experience developing multi-phase implementation roadmaps and then personally driving execution.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Fusion configurations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including comfort working directly with C-suite leaders.
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and reporting tools within the Oracle ecosystem.
- Consulting background preferred; Oracle certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cross-platform integrations (legacy ERP, HRIS, CRM, or custom systems).
- Knowledge of Fusion security, roles, and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project-delivery methodologies.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills for executive audiences.
- Ability to thrive in environments where strategic thinking and hands-on execution are equally important.
Work Environment
- Close collaboration with C-suite, VP-level leaders, and functional owners.
- Remote work supported; Dallas-area presence is a plus for leadership workshops and roadmap sessions.
- Requires strong self-management, initiative, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority — while also personally executing key deliverables.
