About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Vendor Management Lead to support large‑scale ERP transformation initiatives. In this role, you will define, implement, and operate governance structures that ensure effective vendor performance across multi‑vendor ERP programs. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders to evaluate delivery quality, manage risk, and drive accountability across all implementation partners.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Vendor Governance & Delivery Oversight
- Provide leadership across ERP implementation programs supported by large third‑party system integrators and related vendors.
- Define and operationalize governance frameworks, including operating cadence, decision rights, RACI, escalation paths, and stakeholder alignment.
- Establish and manage vendor performance processes, including KPIs/SLAs, dashboards, scorecards, and executive‑ready reporting.
- Lead recurring performance reviews, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and cross‑functional alignment sessions.
Risk, Issue & Escalation Management
- Identify delivery, schedule, and commercial risks early and drive cross‑team mitigation plans.
- Facilitate escalations and coordinate resolution across internal leadership, program teams, and vendor organizations.
Commercial & Contract Support
- Partner with procurement and legal teams to support contract reviews, negotiations, and compliance.
- Ensure scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, SLAs, and performance expectations are clearly defined and adhered to.
Delivery Model Advisory
- Advise on engagement models (e.g., Fixed Bid vs. Time & Materials), associated governance implications, and risk tradeoffs.
- Recommend delivery approaches based on program maturity, vendor performance, and business objectives.
- 12+ years of experience in vendor management, PMO leadership, governance, or similar roles supporting enterprise ERP programs.
- Proven ability to operate in complex, multi‑vendor environments and hold vendors accountable through structured governance.
- Strong communication and executive‑level stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience assessing delivery risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including technology, business, legal, and procurement.
