Job Description: Technical Recruiter (Part‑Time)

Location: 100% Remote (Candidates must be based in San Francisco or San Diego, CA)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract (Extension possible based on performance)
Schedule: Part‑Time, 20 hours/week, Monday–Friday


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Recruiter / Sr. Technical Sourcer to support our engineering and technology hiring needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers and cross‑functional teams to build strong pipelines across Hardware Design, Hardware Packaging, AI/ML, Computer Vision, and other advanced technology domains.

You will drive end‑to‑end sourcing strategies, identify top technical talent, nurture long‑term candidate relationships, and support a world‑class hiring experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute proactive, multi‑channel sourcing strategies to identify high‑caliber technical talent.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for specialized roles across engineering, hardware, AI/ML, and technical leadership.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, business priorities, and market landscapes.
  • Conduct initial outreach, engagement, and screening to assess candidate fit.
  • Promote employer branding through creative outreach, messaging, and digital sourcing campaigns.
  • Track sourcing metrics and conversion rates to optimize outreach effectiveness.
  • Utilize inclusive sourcing practices to reach diverse talent communities.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date market and industry intelligence to support strategic hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with recruiters, coordinators, and operations teams to ensure seamless recruitment processes.
  • Build long-term candidate networks in relevant technical domains.

Top Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to source candidates across professional networks and online communities (LinkedIn, GitHub, Slack, Stack Overflow, etc.).
  • Expertise in crafting personalized and compelling recruiting emails and outreach messages.
  • Experience working with hiring managers to refine job requirements and sourcing strategies.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing for Director‑level and above technical leadership roles.
  • Strong research skills and ability to map complex talent markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Tenacious, proactive, and motivated to deliver high-quality results.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience within advanced technology environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience sourcing for Software Engineering, Hardware, AI/ML, Data Science, or similar technical domains.
  • Experience working on confidential or leadership sourcing (Director+).
  • Strong understanding of sourcing tools, Boolean search, and market intelligence.
  • Ability to tell the organization’s story in a way that resonates with candidate motivations and career goals.

General (Beeline) Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to stay aligned with business needs.
  • Source qualified candidates using databases, referrals, networking, and digital recruitment tools.
  • Conduct interviews to evaluate candidate experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • Maintain accurate applicant and recruitment records.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates regarding hiring processes, evaluations, and selections.
  • Represent the organization professionally and promote job opportunities across all interactions.

Education & Experience (Beeline Standards)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of customer-facing or client-service experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of hiring compliance, recruitment best practices, and MS Office tools.
