Software Engineer – Contingent Resource

About the Role

In this contingent assignment, you will play a key role in supporting large‑scale software engineering initiatives. You will leverage your technical expertise to analyze complex engineering challenges, contribute to long‑term planning, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Consult on complex, large‑scale software engineering initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
  • Review, assess, and troubleshoot multi‑faceted engineering challenges requiring evaluation of diverse and sometimes unprecedented factors.
  • Provide informed recommendations that balance technical requirements, policies, compliance standards, and organizational goals.
  • Support resolution of highly complex issues through strong technical judgment and a deep understanding of engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders at various levels to support strategic initiatives and ensure successful outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent experience gained through one or more of the following:
    • Professional work or consulting experience
    • Technical training
    • Military service
    • Relevant education
