We are seeking a Senior Developer Architect to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions across our cloud-based platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who can operate comfortably across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and delivery pipelines—owning solutions from architecture through production.

You will work closely with engineering leadership, product, and DevOps to ensure our platform is scalable, secure, maintainable, and performant, while actively contributing production-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Platform Design

• Design end-to-end platform solutions spanning frontend, backend, APIs, data, and infrastructure
• Define and evolve application and system architecture standards across the platform
• Ensure designs align with scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency best practices
• Lead architectural reviews and provide clear technical direction to development teams

Hands-On Development

• Develop and maintain production code across:
• Backend: PHP / Laravel, Node.js
• Frontend: Angular
• Data: MySQL
• Build and evolve RESTful and event-driven APIs
• Participate in complex feature development and critical path initiatives
• Review code for quality, performance, security, and maintainability

Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure

• Architect and support applications running in AWS
• Collaborate on infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Design and support containerized workloads using Kubernetes
• Partner with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and environment automation
• Contribute to operational excellence, monitoring, and incident readiness

Quality, Testing & Delivery

• Advocate for and help implement QA automation and testing strategies
• Ensure testing is integrated into development workflows (unit, integration, E2E)
• Improve engineering velocity without compromising quality or reliability

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Support agile delivery processes using Jira
• Promote strong engineering practices using Git-based workflows

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including architectural responsibility
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• PHP / Laravel
• Angular
• Node.js
• MySQL
• Proven experience building and operating applications in AWS
• Solid understanding of:
• Terraform (infrastructure as code)
• Kubernetes and containerized applications
• DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• QA automation frameworks and strategies
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira
• Strong proficiency with Git and modern branching strategies
• Ability to balance strategic architecture thinking with hands-on implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modernizing or scaling SaaS platforms
• Background in high-availability or regulated environments
• Experience designing multi-service or microservice-oriented architectures
• Familiarity with performance tuning, observability, and cost optimization in AWS
