Position Summary
This position will be working with the integration team focusing on data migration from the legacy Salesforce instance to the new Financial Services Cloud Salesforce instance. General role, responsibilities and skills are outlined below. In addition, for this particular role the candidate will be responsible for the following and with required skills in the specified areas listed below.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience with Salesforce migrations to Salesforce FSC projects. The key required skillset includes experience with Salesforce data models, the ability to query Salesforce using SOQL, and advanced SQL skills. Additionally, experience with Oracle databases and Oracle PL/SQL is preferred. The candidate should also understand and have experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, MS SSIS, or Talend.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce data models, ability to query Salesforce (SOQL).
- Advance SQL skills, experience with Oracle Data base. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL preferred.
- Hands on experience in relational database SQL, creating end-to-end data dictionary, JIRA (and confluence)
- Understanding and experience with Data Integration tools like Informatica, MS SSIS or Talend
- Proven track record of delivering medium- large scale application integration projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to juggle multiple roles and simultaneous projects
- Experience working in an Agile environment for technical integration teams.
- Prior Financial Industry/Brokerage experience preferred (nice to have)
- Salesforce Admin Certification (nice to have)
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university OR years of experience met
- 10+ years of business systems analysis experience
- 5+ years in business architecture or solution architecture
- 6-10 years of Salesforce ecosystem experience with primary focus on platform integrations, APIs and ETL technologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to always think of the big picture.
- Passion for data integration with ability to articulate benefits and downsides of various integration patterns
As a Senior Data Business Systems Analyst, you will:
- Using provided data model documentation and Salesforce App dev confluence pages and project requirements, create design documents.
- Use data analysis and profiling to verify design against the Salesforce instance to ensure access and accuracy.
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver tactical and long-term solutions that meet the business objective and maximize business value
- Partner with Integration Product Owners to manage the business and stakeholder expectations within the defined program scope, vision, and release.
- Lead cross domain process design workstreams and develop comprehensive documentation for a successful delivery of the project.
- Ability to translate larger project vision and business objective into deployable user stories.
- Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and the technical team to effectively articulate the business deliverable.
- Work closely with the technical architects to create and maintain business process/architecture documentation
- Participate in program planning process by providing end to end business process and technical expertise input for strategic initiatives
- Active participant in planning quarterly deliverables by collaborating with the cross domain and integration product owners and delivering a roadmap as an output of that collaboration.
- Champion business process streamlining and standardization of documentation across the data integration space.
- Be an advocate for the integration business analyst organization and its capabilities.
- Provide guidance and drive Agile practices with product owners and scrum teams including the maintenance and prioritization of our backlog
- Ability to document and facilitate risk and dependency management with cross team partners
