We are seeking a skilled Telecom Business Analyst to support the RevChain billing system migration project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in telecom billing systems, data migration, and business process analysis. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to RevChain, while maintaining data integrity and business continuity.


Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and migration goals.
    • Document transition requirements including data conversion, business continuity, and system integration.
  • Data Migration Support:
    • Identify data entities (e.g., customer accounts, billing records, usage data) for migration.
    • Map source data to RevChain target structures and define transformation rules.
    • Assist in defining ETL processes and validating data accuracy post-migration.
  • Process Documentation & Optimization:
    • Analyze existing telecom billing workflows and identify areas for improvement.
    • Document “as-is” and “to-be” processes to support system transition.
  • Testing & Validation:
    • Support UAT by preparing test cases and validating migrated data.
    • Coordinate with QA teams to ensure system functionality aligns with business expectations.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and vendors.
    • Provide regular updates on migration progress, risks, and mitigation plans.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the telecom domain.
  • Hands-on experience with RevChain or similar telecom billing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data migration lifecycle and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data mapping tools.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Familiarity with telecom regulatory compliance and billing standards.
  • Prior involvement in large-scale system migration or transformation projects.
