Job Summary
The Director, Indirect Channel Sales will spearhead the growth and development of our indirect sales channel by leading a dynamic team of Partner Sales Managers and Inside Partner Sales Managers. This role focuses on cultivating robust relationships with channel partners across the U.S. to drive sales performance and achieve business objectives.This position is virtually located in Minnesota, Illinois or Georgia with approximately 50% expected annual US travel.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and enhance partnerships with 2000 - 3000 Comcast Business Indirect Partners and Sub Partners across the US to ensure mutual growth and success.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Partner Sales Managers and Inside Partner Sales Managers, fostering an environment of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with sales targets and the execution of comprehensive business plans.
- Marketing Strategy: Design and implement targeted marketing plans that drive specific sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for partners.
- Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training and support for team members on the Comcast Business portfolios, ensuring they are equipped to maximize partner engagement.
- Business Planning Support: Assist in the strategic business planning process, including the management of partner bonus programs and event planning initiatives.
- Executive Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership at Comcast Business to identify and capitalize on sales and marketing opportunities and collaborative initiatives.
- Financial Reporting: Analyze partner performance, forecasts and sales trends through comprehensive financial reporting to guide strategic decisions and foster ongoing growth.
- Cross-Selling Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies that promote cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, enhancing overall customer and partner business growth.
- Judgment and Discretion: Exercise independent judgment in significant matters, ensuring decisions align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Attendance: Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of proven success in leading teams and building strong relationships with indirect channel sales partners.
- Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet quota expectations and achieve KPIs consistently.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of telecom business solutions and market dynamics.

Primary Location Pay Range: $139,382.07 - $197,457.93This job can be performed in Illinois with a Pay Range of $132,744.83 - $206,860.69Targeted Commission: $90,000.00Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
