As the Frontend Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers working on the core frontend systems behind our marketing UI and internal tooling. You’ll play a key role in architecting scalable solutions, managing client-side integration efforts with third-party services, and ensuring the responsiveness and performance of our frontend systems.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, has strong architectural instincts, and enjoys balancing technical leadership with people management.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a frontend engineering team focused on building and maintaining our marketing UI and internal platform components.
  • Own the architecture and delivery of new features, components, and client-side integrations that power customer-facing and internal experiences.
  • Drive clean component design and robust frontend systems for responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Oversee technical roadmaps and sprint planning, balancing short-term needs with long-term system health.
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, security, and UI consistency.
  • Guide frontend integration efforts with backend services and external partners across ad tech, authentication, and analytics.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of frontend software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
  • Strong experience building and scaling modern web applications, ideally using React, Next.js, Storybook, and other standard frontend toolsets and workflows.
  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture, component libraries, state management, and client-side integration patterns.
  • Experience working with third-party libraries, SDKs, or marketing/advertising platform integrations.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Next.js) and familiarity with state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library), and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, and frontend deployment practices (e.g., CI/CD for static sites and CDNs).
  • Strong people management skills with a passion for mentoring and team growth.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
