Job Summary

The Specialist, Physical Identity & Access Management (PIAM), is responsible for supporting the Access Badge Issuance and Credentialing Program by assisting in maintaining the physical access control systems, managing documentation and logs, and providing support for access requests and issue resolution. They contribute to the implementation of training programs and participate in various program initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintaining the physical access control systems, ensuring their proper functioning and security.
  • Assists with the creation, modification, and updating of time codes, access groups, and access codes in the Physical Access Control Systems (PACS).
  • Provides support for credential and access requests as required.
  • Assists in the analysis and resolution of access issues.
  • Supports project initiatives related to access issuance and credentialing.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and activity logs for the Access Badge Issuance and Credentialing Program.
  • Participates in the implementation of training programs to educate employees on access badge issuance and credentialing procedures.
  • Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to ensure program compliance and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), Identity Management (IDM) systems, or visitor management systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of access control policies, procedures, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification or accreditation that validates expertise and knowledge as it relates to PIAM such as: Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), Certified Physical Security Professional (CPP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Identity and Access Management Professional (CIAMP), or Certified Identity Protection Advisor (CIPA) is a plus.
  • Certification from access control and identity management vendor such as HID Global, Gallagher, Lenel, or AMAG is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime, as necessary.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
  • Must be able to travel to Comcast facilities for business coordination purposes.

Compensation

National Pay Range: $43,541.76 USD-$102,051.00 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
