About this opportunity

What you will do

  • Removing barriers and solving our users’ computer hardware and software problems
  • Instruct and guide users in the utilization of our digital tools including computers, mobile phones and software applications
  • Be the “face” of our MyIT Walk In Center and work in an open concept environment that is designed for collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Interact face-to-face and use collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, email and phone to support remote users
  • Have the opportunity to impact Ericsson employees and make a difference in their day
  • Help manage, configure and maintain computer hardware
  • Proactively identify and analyze recurring issues, working with leadership to establish mitigation plans to address and fix issues

You will bring

  • Minimum 6 years of experience working with Microsoft Windows
  • Expertise with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Office, etc.) support
  • Experience and knowledge in supporting iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills (friendly, approachable, calm under fire, patience)
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or in other customer support roles
  • Excellent teamwork, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic to complex technical hardware and software issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire and experience to train others
  • Experience with MacBooks and Linux is a plus
  • Asset Management experience is a plus
  • Excellent teamwork, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Leading teams experience is a plus
