- This role is a hybrid position with the expectation to work onsite (3) three days a week in the Ericsson office located in either Plano, Texas or Boise, Idaho and relocation is not offered for this position.

The Director of Channel Marketing will be responsible for the team developing and executing go-to-market strategies that accelerate channel sales growth and drive partner engagement. This role will manage 1 to many channel marketing programs, initiatives, and campaigns in collaboration with sales, product, field marketing, and partner management teams. In addition, this role will also manage 1 to few partner marketing programs supporting America’s solution partners in our key regions.
What you will do:
- Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive channel marketing and enablement strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Build strong relationships with value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, and other strategic partners to drive joint marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Oversee partner marketing communications, campaigns, co-branding initiatives, and joint events to increase partner-generated revenue.
- Collaborate with partner account managers, sales leaders, and product marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of channel marketing efforts.
- Lead co-marketing programs, MDF (Market Development Funds) allocation, and ensure ROI tracking.
- Develop and execute a global partner event strategy, including content development, budgeting, on-site execution and post-event reporting, for partner events such as Global Partner Summit, regional partner networking events and partner roundtables.
- Work with global marketing teams to create channel-specific marketing collateral, campaigns, and promotions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize channel programs.
- Ensure timely execution of programs.
- Manage channel marketing budgets, track KPIs, and deliver measurable ROI.
The skills you bring:
Qualifictations:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
- 8+ years in marketing with experience in channel or partner marketing.
- Strong understanding of indirect sales models and partner ecosystems.
- Experience leading partner enablement and channel marketing teams.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools.

- Strategic thinking with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
- Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives across marketing, sales and partner ecosystems.

The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
