We are looking for a business-minded, well-rounded senior commercial attorney to join our growing team at Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions. You will be the primary legal support for several go-to-market teams. You will join a global team of collaborative, solutions-oriented lawyers and contract professionals with a shared passion for enabling risk-optimized growth and removing roadblocks for our business partners. We operate as strategic, results-driven leaders and are deeply engaged across our business.
You will manage B2B commercial legal work and provide strategic advice for a high-growth business within Ericsson that sells wireless connectivity technology solutions through a multi-tier channel sales model. You will work cross-functionally with every part of the business, and impact all go-to-market aspects of the business daily. You will work especially closely with sales, channel, marketing, and operations teams to structure and negotiate complex commercial deals. You will have an opportunity to lead projects and provide immediate value on a variety of workstreams involving commercial technology transactions and strategic partnerships.
Success in this role requires curiosity, optimism, speed, clear problem framing, and the ability to translate legal complexity into practical choices that accelerate the business. Your counsel will drive cost-efficient scalability, support evolving channel strategies, and manage risk across jurisdictions
What will you do
- Support the company’s global commercial goals and channel strategies, by designing and implementing legal strategies and contracting frameworks across all aspects of company’s routes to market.
- Provide high-level legal and business advice to partnership program and go-to-market teams
- Draft, negotiate, and conclude complex commercial transactions related to hardware distribution, software licensing, services sales, supply, pricing, resellers, partnerships, service providers, and strategic alliances
- Transform startup operations with strong deal hygiene and governance that scale without unnecessary process
- Provide creative and practical answers to cutting-edge legal questions, including commercial, privacy, antitrust, securities, and other topics
- Work-cross functionally to create light-touch, scalable contracting frameworks
- Provide legal guidance that enable aggressive marketing campaigns in compliance with worldwide laws
- Create user-friendly deal structures, templates, self-help tools, playbooks, and trainings that will serve as a scalable foundation for rapidly growing deal flows
- Implement and optimize contract lifecycle management processes using AI-driven legal tools
- Collaborate with legal teams for other businesses and regions
- Design processes to automate and streamline lower-risk, high-velocity work.
- Take on high-impact, special projects in a fast-paced environment
The skills you bring
Minimum Qualifications
- JD or equivalent legal degree with active bar membership in good standing
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience with at least 3 years in-house
- Excellent track record of practical, creative, and business-focused legal guidance and drafting
- Ability to perform independently and collaborate frictionlessly
- Deep experience supporting B2B businesses, multi-tier channel sales models, go-to-market teams, and partnership programs.
- Expertise in marketing and trademarks law
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and resolving commercial disputes
- Experience with hardware, software, and services technology portfolios, including as-a-service or subscription models
- Strong understanding of global channel distribution and partner ecosystems
- Excellent communicator, able to distill information from diverse sources into precise, fact-based, strategic problem statements and advice
- Excellent business judgment, negotiation skills, and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to work on leadership teams including both attorneys and business executives to solve sophisticated issues
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, curious, humble, high empathy, and control over emotions in chaotic situations
- Disposition to cheer for your teammates and your team
Preferred Qualifications
- In-house experience at a telecommunications, networking, or enterprise technology company
- Experience with software licensing, end user agreements, data privacy compliance, and cybersecurity
- Familiarity with open-source licensing and technology development agreements
- Public sector contracting experience
- Power user of AI tools
- Experience with Icertis

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
- Santa Clara: $231,200- $346,800
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
