Your role

The Contract Management NAM Leader oversees contract management operations across North America within Digital Realty’s Legal, Risk, Sustainability & Compliance organization. This role leads a team responsible for contract generation, abstraction, maintenance, and overall data integrity across the contract lifecycle.

You will drive optimization of contract data, processes, workflows, and systems—ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance while championing continuous improvement, automation, and innovation across the CLM ecosystem.

What you’ll do

  • Lead North America’s contract management activities, supervising a team responsible for contract generation, abstraction, storage, and maintenance.
  • Oversee contract data management including organization, accuracy, retrieval, and alignment with company-wide data governance standards.
  • Maintain and monitor contract data in the CLM (Conga) and related legacy systems, ensuring precise input of contractual details, lifecycle milestones, and metadata.
  • Identify and correct data inconsistencies, drive data quality monitoring, and support maintenance of the contract data model and data dictionary.
  • Provide guidance on template usage, contract hierarchy, transactional drafting (routine agreements/amendments), and contract structure inquiries.
  • Coordinate contractual notices, ensuring compliant issuance, tracking, and storage.
  • Manage end‑to‑end contract signature processes including sequencing, approval routing, signature authority validation, and timely completion.
  • Lead reporting efforts by generating dashboards and insights to support business decision‑making and obligations tracking.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying process pain points and proposing automation and efficiency enhancements—including AI-driven data optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with internal SLAs, data protection regulations, and confidentiality standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Corporate Data Office, Legal, Operations, Sales) to support integrated contract data management.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree required; legal or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or related fields, with a strong record of meeting SLAs.
  • Experience with data governance, data management, data quality, and dashboard/reporting practices; analytics background is a plus.
  • Prior experience in contract management or paralegal roles strongly preferred.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to process data updates accurately and quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable team player able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with CLM platforms, preferably Conga; strong understanding of contract data practices.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools used for data management is desirable.

Our Compensation Philosophy

Digital Realty offers a highly competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Our compensation philosophy rewards employees for achieving the objectives aligned to the company’s goals and values.

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full‑time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.

Compensation range: $140,000 – $170,000 annually.
This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
