Position Title: Supervisor, Enterprise Collections

Location: Dallas, TX

Your role

The duties of the Supervisor, Enterprise Collections are as follows. Responsible for leading and planning the collections operations. This individual is responsible for implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers, asset managers and property operation teams. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and manage the collection team.

What you’ll do

• Supervise the Enterprise Collections team in a hybrid environment, building a consistent approach for all international customers.
• Ensure team KPIs are met, and errors are managed appropriately
• Manage and build positive relationships with stakeholders across the Global Digital Realty family, from Global Finance, Operations, Sales, Treasury and Accounting
• Help support team and cover for team members in times of absence
• Review any submissions to auditors, liaise with audit leads
• Ensure SOX compliance
• Ensure Company policy, regulatory compliance is adhered to regarding document storage and retention
• Review best practice developments and bring them to the Senior Manager B&C’s attention
• Be involved in project work and any transformational activity required, including onboarding of new entities and disposals
• Inspire and create and collaborative working environment
• Oversee and streamline collections processes.
• Complete assigned month end closing reports and responsibilities.
• Maintain and implement quality assurance for all processes.
• Respond and mitigate collection escalations.
• Observe and adhere to established processes, procedures, policies and guidelines.
• Provide excellent & considerate customer service to external and internal customers.
• Staffing discussions and planning/interviews; Team building and training.
• Assist with AR related special projects as necessary.
• Review monthly delinquency notifications to Asset Management Team.
• Confirm and reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances due.
• Participate in and coordinate payment workshops with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Meet defined department goals and collection metrics.
• Provide weekly/monthly detailed collection status to management.

What you’ll need

• 4-5 years of previous accounts receivable management experience; a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a plus.

• The ability to meet tight deadlines and willingness to work in a paperless environment.

• Commitment to excellent customer service.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Strong communication, attention to detail, goal oriented, problem solving and analytical skills.

• Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite predominately in Excel a must.

• Experience with Yardi, SAP Business One, Salesforce, and Oracle is a plus.

• Experience in a real estate environment is preferred but not required.

• Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a collections department.

• Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
