Job Description
Position Title: Director of HR Service Delivery
Location: Dallas, TX
Your role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of HR Service Delivery to lead our team from our Dallas, TX office. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Employee Platforms, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, implementation, and operational excellence of our corporate HR applications. This role has a deep focus on Oracle HCM and other key corporate applications and requires the ability to work with and manage global teams. You will partner with HR business leaders, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure our HR technology effectively supports business objectives, drives efficiency, and delivers superior employee experience.
What you’ll do
- Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive service delivery strategy for our HR application portfolio, aligning it with company-wide business and HR goals.
- Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on Oracle HCM, providing guidance on best practices, new features, and long-term platform roadmap.
- Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of major HR technology initiatives, from system enhancements to new module rollouts and integrations.
- Operational Excellence & Service Delivery:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and support of Oracle HCM and other HR applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for HR technology support, driving continuous improvement in service quality.
- Lead and manage a global team of technical program managers, analysts, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and customer-centricity.
- Team & Vendor Management:
- Manage and mentor a high-performing global team of technical and functional leads, including performance management, career development, and resource planning.
- Oversee relationships with key vendors and implementation partners, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver high-quality services.
- Manage the budget for HR technology, including software licenses, third-party services, and internal resources.
- Stakeholder Partnership:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior HR and business leaders on all HR technology matters.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and strategies.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and data flow across enterprise systems.
- Communicate program updates, risks, and successes to executive leadership and all relevant stakeholders.
What you’ll need
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 15+ years of progressive experience in HR technology, with at least 7 years in a leadership or management role.
- Oracle HCM Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience with Oracle HCM is required including deep Technical and Functional Knowledge. Must have a deep understanding of its modules (e.g., Recruiting, Core HR, Benefits, Talent Management, Workforce Compensation, and Workforce Scheduling) and a proven track record of managing its implementation, support, and evolution.
- Leadership & Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team of technical and functional professionals. Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and complex, cross-functional programs.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proven ability to influence and build consensus among senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, integrations, data management, and security principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Oracle HCM or other relevant enterprise HR platforms.
- Experience with global HR systems and multi-regional implementations and support.
- Expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- PMP, PgMP, or other relevant program management certifications.
