Job Description
Position Title: Fund Financial Manager
Location: New York, NY
Your role We are seeking a Financial Fund Manager to oversee the daily financial operations of our investment fund, which supports a data center-focused real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Private Capital Management, this position plays a pivotal role in managing fund investment modeling, financial reporting, planning, and investor relations. The role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders across finance, accounting, legal, compliance, and investment teams, as well as third-party service providers.
What you’ll do
- Lead all fund financial and investment activities, ensuring alignment with DLR’s policies and strategic objectives.
- Oversee capital calls, distributions, valuations, audit support, and coordination with fund administrators and accounting teams.
- Develop and manage fund models, including consolidated forecasts, waterfalls, capital flows, and liquidity planning.
- Coordinate compliance obligations such as AML/KYC, insurance, side-letter tracking, and reporting.
- Produce quarterly and annual LP financial reports and support custom reporting requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and limited partners on operational and financial matters.
- Support new fund formations, financings, and real estate development project diligence.
- Manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Ensure timely delivery of recurring fund deliverables and resolve unexpected issues effectively.
- Apply sound judgment in interpreting fund documents, policies, and compliance standards.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate; advanced degree or certifications (CPA, CFA) a plus.
- 5–10 years of experience in fund financial operations, preferably in commercial real estate, private equity, or asset management.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and fund operations, including formation and governance documentation.
- Expertise in real estate finance concepts, financial modeling, and forecasting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Yardi and Argus preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including reporting and presentation experience with senior stakeholders or limited partners.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional coordination.
- Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, including comfort working with data and developing insights.
- Adaptability, strong work ethic, and willingness to accept and apply feedback for continuous improvement.

Our Compensation Philosophy

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.
Compensation range: $100,000 to $155,000 annually. This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary/hourly rate for this position at the time of this posting.
