Work you’ll do

As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s SAP practice, you will:

  • Advise clients on how to use SAP Production Planning (PP) to modernize manufacturing operations, improve planning effectiveness, and support supply chain transformation
  • Partner with client stakeholders to assess current-state processes, gather business requirements, and design future-state SAP PP solutions
  • Configure and support SAP PP across core functional areas, including material requirements planning (MRP), production orders, master data, shop floor control, capacity planning, Kanban, and repetitive or process manufacturing, as applicable
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions across the full implementation lifecycle, from workshops and design through testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Solve complex operational challenges by translating business requirements into practical, scalable SAP-enabled solutions and building strong client relationships through high-quality delivery
  • Contribute to the growth of Deloitte’s SAP practice through knowledge sharing, mentoring junior team members, and supporting internal initiatives and business development efforts

Deloitte’s SAP practice helps clients design, implement, and sustain SAP-enabled business transformations. We bring together industry knowledge, functional depth, and technology capabilities to support first-time implementations, business-led enhancements, and large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs

Our teams work across complex, high-visibility engagements for leading companies across industries, helping clients modernize their core, improve process performance, and take advantage of capabilities in cloud, automation, analytics, AI, and machine learning. You’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced practitioners, deepen your SAP expertise, and contribute to solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree plus 6 years of SAP, ERP, or consulting experience
  • 5+ years of SAP consulting experience in a consulting firm, industry environment, or both supporting solution design and end-to-end delivery
  • 3+ years of hands-on functional configuration experience with SAP PP
  • Participation in 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementations, including serving in a primary SAP PP role on 1+ implementation
  • Experience configuring SAP PP across 3+ functional areas, such as PP-D, PP-PI, MRP or MRP Live, production orders or process orders, shop floor control, capacity planning, PP-DS integration, repetitive manufacturing, or Kanban/JIT
  • 1+ year of hands-on configuration and solution design experience in 1+ SAP module outside of SAP PP, such as MM, QM, EWM, PM, or TM, including customizing, integration design, and end-to-end testing
  • Experience with 1+ SAP S/4HANA implementation, transformation, or migration program
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of client service delivery experience at a Big Four or comparable consulting firm
  • Participation in 1+ SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA conversion or greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation
  • Experience with SAP Signavio
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing scenarios such as variant configuration/AVC, repetitive manufacturing, PP-DS, or integration with MES solutions, such as SAP DM or SAP MII, on 1+ program
  • Current SAP certification in S/4HANA Production Planning or S/4HANA Supply Chain, or a related area such as EWM, MM, or QM

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 to $198,400.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
