Position Summary
Deloitte University is Deloitte’s national learning campus in Westlake, Texas, where employees and clients attend informational and learning programs. The Deloitte University Production team produces live events for programs, using cutting-edge audio, video, and lighting technologies to deliver memorable, impactful experiences for all attendees. The Graphics Operator manages presentation content for both attendees and speakers. They are a critical member of the production team, responsible for creating, managing, and executing all on-screen graphics during live plenary events.
As an experienced Graphic Operator, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Review the run of show, speaker lineups, and graphics requirements with the production team.
- As needed, build graphic templates for lower thirds, speaker names/titles, session titles, and other on-screen messaging.
- Collaborate with producers and program clients to gather assets required for the event (PowerPoint decks, logos, and speaker notes documents).
- Set up presentation workstations and verify all systems function properly.
- Import and format PowerPoint/Keynote presentations; provide reformatting and adjustments as needed to ensure proper display to the audience.
- Configure confidence monitors for presenter control; update speaker notes as needed to ensure content matches expectations.
- Create backup systems and contingency plans for technical failures.
- Participate in technical rehearsals and adjust based on feedback.
- Operate the graphics system in real time, triggering lower thirds and titles on the stage manager’s call.
- Support slide advancement for speakers, ensuring presenters are prepared to use remotes; support confidence-monitor configurations.
- Monitor presentation outputs on all screens (main screens, confidence monitors, and others) and make real-time adjustments to graphics timing, duration, and positioning.
- Respond quickly to last-minute changes (speaker name corrections, session title updates, and schedule changes).
- Troubleshoot graphics system issues and implement workarounds during live shows.

Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in live events, broadcast, or corporate production.
- Relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
- Proven track record operating graphics systems during high-pressure live shows.
- Strong understanding of video signal flow and formats (SDI, HDMI, NDI, IP).
- Proficiency with multiple graphics systems (Ross, VizRT, Chyron) and with presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides).
- Understanding of confidence monitor systems and presenter display setups.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Audio/Visual Production, Media Technology, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience
- If applicable, relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
- Must be local to Dallas, TX and this role will require availability and delivery that aligns to the program schedule across a 7-day week (some weekends included based on business needs).
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
