Telecom Migration Lead – Project Delivery Senior Analyst – Customer

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

The Telecom Migration & Cutover Lead plans and executes remote site telecom migrations, coordinating cutover activities and ensuring operational readiness. This role serves as the day-to-day point of contact for vendors and carriers, managing scheduling, prerequisites, escalations, and completion confirmations for activities such as cellular gateway installations and circuit transitions.

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years experience in telecom/network operations, circuit lifecycle management, or large-scale site migrations/cutovers
  • 3+ years Demonstrated experience planning and executing cutovers (runbooks, prerequisites, scheduling, stakeholder communications, rollback awareness)
  • 3+ years experience Hands-on knowledge of WAN/telecom circuit types (e.g., analog/POTS replacement, cellular/LTE/5G gateways, broadband) and typical carrier/vendor processes
  • 3+ years experience Working understanding of network configuration and troubleshooting fundamentals, including DHCP concepts and MAC address identification/assignment validation
  • 3+ years Experience enabling/validating monitoring and alerting for circuits/devices (e.g., vendor portal monitoring; SNMP basics where available)
  • Proven ability to execute/coordinate post-install testing and maintain audit-ready evidence (screenshots, call logs, test results)
  • Familiarity managing telecom inventory and billing systems; ability to keep records accurate and reconcile discrepancies (experience with Tangoe and Telecom Web strongly preferred/required if applicable)
  • Experience submitting and tracking disconnect orders, including capturing carrier order IDs, due dates, completion confirmations, and decommission status updates
  • Strong vendor/carrier coordination and escalation skills; ability to communicate impact, risks, and recommended next steps to a Project Manager
  • High attention to detail, strong documentation habits, and ability to manage multiple sites/tasks concurrently
  • Proficiency with common tooling (e.g., Excel/Sheets for logs, ticketing systems, email/Teams) and maintaining structured migration logs
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,000- $134,000

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
