Work you’ll do

As a Data Management Solutions Manager (Banking), you will leverage your expertise in banking operations and data management to design, deliver, and optimize enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.

  • In this role, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop MDM frameworks, define data governance processes, and architect models that ensure accurate, consistent, and integrated customer, product, and transactional data across the bank
  • Define and implement data governance frameworks—develop MDM data domains, standards, and stewardship operating models that establish clear ownership, accountability, and trust in data
  • Champion data-driven business transformation, working with executives and cross-functional teams to translate complex banking needs into aligned MDM solutions and best practices
  • Oversee end-to-end program delivery—from current state assessments and roadmap development to solution rollout, user adoption, and sustainable change management
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment, leading interactive workshops and steering committees with business, technology, risk, and compliance leaders to gain consensus and drive progress
  • Establish and execute data quality initiatives, leveraging root cause analysis and continuous improvement to deliver reliable, actionable, and compliant data assets

In addition, Managers also contribute to Deloitte’s thought leadership, play a significant role in business development activities (to include, the development and presentation of proposals), and own responsibility for the development of junior staff.

The team

Our AI & Data practice offers comprehensive solutions for designing, developing, and operating advanced Data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services. We help clients innovate, enhance, and manage their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, ensuring they can grow and scale effectively.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in data management consulting or industry roles, with a focus on master data management (MDM), data governance, metadata, data architecture, data strategy, data quality, data modeling, and data standards
  • 4+ years Financial Services - Banking industry (consulting and/or industry) experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of banking products, services, business processes, and the complete customer lifecycle
  • 4+ years experience translating complex banking business requirements into scalable master data models and technical solutions
  • 2+ years hands-on implementation experience with leading data management platforms such as Informatica (MDM, 360, Data Catalog) and/or Reltio (Multi-domain MDM, Intelligent 360, advanced data models)
  • 2+ years experience leading, managing and delivering complex data management engagements with resources in multiple locations. To include experience leading cross-functional workshops with technology, data, compliance, and business stakeholders to elicit requirements and design solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Experience with Azure, GCP and/or AWS tools and services
  • Experience with emerging technologies (such as Generative AI) and advanced data architectures—including Multimodal Data Management, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and Data Products
  • Experience with both the sales cycle, by participating in framing out client opportunities, and the pursuit team creating proposal content for client discussions
  • Experience developing impactful collateral for client workshops and interactive customer sessions, driving alignment and actionable outcomes
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring the successful delivery and adoption of customer-facing solutions
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, with confidence leading discussions in both large and small group settings
  • Demonstrated experience with management and delivery of strategic engagements for large global organization
  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,800 to $241,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
