The HR Quality Assurance & Improvement (QA&I) Partner is a key role within Human Resources, working closely with the Senior Director of Quality Assurance & Improvement to strengthen HR service delivery across the Employee Experience Center (EEC) and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD).This position contributes to the implementation of quality assurance frameworks, supports process improvement activities, and assists in monitoring HR operational performance. The QA&I Partner collaborates with HR teams, COEs, and stakeholders to ensure HR services are consistent, efficient, compliant, and aligned with Dallas College’s mission, vision, and values. The role provides essential analytical, project, and operational support to the Senior Director and the broader QA&I function.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate findings into recommendations.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and build strong working relationships.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with HR operations, compliance requirements, and service delivery models.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in HR operations, quality assurance, project support, or related roles.
Experience supporting process improvement or data-focused initiatives preferred.
Official transcripts and certifications required.
Current and valid Texas driver’s license.
Other Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (Green Belt preferred but not required).
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
Project management coursework or certification (e.g., CAPM) preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance
Assist the Senior Director in implementing and maintaining quality assurance frameworks for the EEC and HRSD.
Support the review and documentation of standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational consistency.
Participate in quality checks, audits, and evaluations to identify gaps or opportunities to enhance service delivery.

Process Improvement
Contribute to initiatives that streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance employee experiences.
Assist with mapping processes, gathering requirements, and documenting current and future-state workflows.
Support the application of Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies under the Senior Director’s guidance.

Data, Metrics, & Reporting
Collect, organize, and analyze HR operational data to strengthen performance monitoring and trend identification.
Prepare draft reports, dashboards, and summaries that inform decision-making.
Support ongoing tracking of KPIs, service trends, and improvements.

Project & Operational Support
Facilitate project coordination support, including scheduling, documentation, follow-up, and status tracking.
Assist with developing training materials, job aids, process guides, and knowledge base articles.
Provide communication drafts, presentations, and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
Serve as a point of coordination among HRSD, EEC, COEs, and other departments to support QA&I initiatives.
Gather input, feedback, and documentation from teams to support improvements or audits.
Participate in meetings, take notes, and follow through on assigned action items.
Required Dallas College Professional Development Hours per Academic Year.
All employees are required to complete a minimum of 19 hours.
People leaders are required an additional 16 hours of leadership development.
Perform other duties not listed as assigned.
