Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Systems
Own end-to-end HR operational processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and records retention.
Own and optimize HRIS and related systems; ensure data integrity, security, and effective system integrations.
Lead vendor management and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Compliance, Immigration, Audit, Training & Reporting
Own HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Own the company’s immigration program, including strategy, execution, vendor management, documentation, and audit readiness.
Lead all HR-related audits (including I-9, immigration, internal controls, and SOX-related HR audits, as applicable).
Own and lead HR and people-related compliance training, including design, delivery, tracking, and effectiveness.
Own HR compliance, immigration, audit, and training reporting, including regulatory filings, audit responses, risk assessments, executive dashboards, and leadership reporting.
Develop and maintain internal controls, documentation standards, and reporting processes to mitigate risk and ensure transparency.
Policy, Governance & Risk
Own the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and operational standards.
Identify, assess, and mitigate HR operational and compliance risks.
Leadership & Partnership
Lead and develop the HR Operations team, including compliance, immigration, audit, and reporting resources.
Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, and HR COEs to ensure compliant execution of HR programs.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR operational risk, compliance obligations, and reporting insights.
Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with 6–8+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant focus on HR operations, 3+ years of people leadership experience and deep knowledge of HR systems, HR compliance, and employment law. Proven experience scaling HR operations in a growing or complex organization.
Preferred:
HR certifications (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR).
Experience supporting multi-state or global employee populations.
Experience in shared services or HR transformation initiatives.
