The HR Specialist provides tactical support across multiple areas of Human Resources, including reporting and analysis, audits, HRIS data management, employee engagement, and special projects. This role is designed for an early-career HR professional who is detail-oriented, comfortable with data, and eager to contribute broadly to the HR function. The HR Specialist partners closely with HR leadership to ensure smooth HR operations, accurate reporting, and practical support for employees and leaders. A key focus of this position is providing day-to-day HR operational support that enables our data center employees in the field to stay focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Reporting and Analytics

· Prepare and maintain staffing, headcount, turnover, and other workforce reports

· Develop and deliver presentations in PowerPoint to communicate staffing and workforce insights

· Use Excel to analyze HR data, track trends, and provide insights to leadership

• HRIS and Data Management

· Support HR data entry and data management within HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus)

· Help ensure HR data accuracy, consistency, and compliance

Compliance and Audits

· Assist with internal and external HR audits by gathering and preparing required documentation

· Support compliance monitoring and help update HR policies and procedures

Employee Experience and Engagement

· Conduct exit interviews and summarize findings to support retention initiatives

· Assist in organizing employee events, recognition programs, and engagement activities

· Support the administration of employee surveys and compile results for review

HR Operations and Projects

· Assist with HR communications and drafting employee facing materials

· Provide tactical HR support that directly impacts data center employees in the field

· Participate in special projects such as policy rollouts, headcount planning, and HR process improvement initiatives

· Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes for greater efficiency

· Provide logistical support for office setup, HR events, and cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

· 0–3 years of experience in HR or related field

· Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Teams required

· Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

· Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive HR information.

Education / Certifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)·

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model: in-office 3-4 days each week at downtown Dallas HQ.
