We are seeking a strategic and experienced Corporate EHS Manager to lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of our global safety programs. This role will oversee safety performance across all phases of our data center portfolio—including site selection, design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge of safety in high-risk, high-reliability environments (such as construction, critical infrastructure, or advanced manufacturing), paired with a strong leadership presence, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a passion for protecting people and ensuring business continuity.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and lead the company’s global safety strategy across the full lifecycle of data center assets.
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert and executive advisor on safety matters.
  • Partner with the field team of regional safety professionals, helping to drive accountability, capability, and performance.

Program Development & Execution

  • Develop and continuously improve corporate safety standards, policies, training, audits, and tools.
  • Ensure safety requirements are embedded into contracts, design reviews, and operational planning.
  • Expand the use of leading and lagging indicators to track safety performance and drive proactive interventions.

Collaboration & Engagement

  • Partner closely with the field safety team to ensure alignment between corporate safety strategy and field-level execution across construction and operational sites.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between corporate EHSS leadership, field safety teams, and other frontline stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of programs, policies, and expectations.
  • Serve as a key liaison with cross-functional teams—including Construction, Operations, Engineering, Legal, Security, Human Resources, and Sustainability—to embed safety principles into all phases of the data center lifecycle.
  • Act as a key contributor to cross-company initiatives that intersect with safety, such as resiliency planning, business continuity, ESG disclosures, and workforce engagement strategies.
  • Provide clear, confident, and proactive communication to senior leadership on emerging safety issues, risk trends, incident learnings, and opportunities for strategic improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive experience in safety leadership, including direct oversight of multi-site or global operations.
  • Prior experience in high-risk sectors such as data centers, construction, industrial manufacturing, or utilities required.
  • Proven track record in developing and scaling safety programs in rapidly growing or technically complex organizations.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel up to 25% will be required.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
