The Senior Director, OFCI Procurement oversees global OFCI procurement, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficiency. This role optimizes global purchasing, drives cost savings, and maintains quality and compliance standards and collaborates with key stakeholders to deliver strategic sourcing strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• OFCI Demand planning: ensure that the procurement team accurately forecasts the materials and equipment needed to meet project timelines and avoid delays
• Deal pricing: Negotiate favorable terms and prices with suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining quality. Collaborate with Finance and Sales to ensure accurate deal underwriting.
• Contracting and Purchasing: Lead global procurement processes, including requisition, sourcing, purchasing, and contract management. Enforce policies and ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
• Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, vendors, and consultants. Evaluate based on quality, reliability, cost, lead times, and delivery performance. Negotiate favorable contracts and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Inventory allocations: Manage the distribution of equipment to ensure it is available when needed to support the development pipeline
• Inbound logistics: Responsible for the transportation and delivery of procured items from the manufacturers or distributors to the construction sites or storage.
• Procurement Operations: Lead global procurement processes, including requisition, sourcing, purchasing, and contract management. Enforce policies and ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
• Internal Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Construction, Design, Finance, Operations, Legal etc. to align procurement activities with organizational needs. Provide guidance to department leadership on procurement matters.
• Leadership: Oversee equipment production planning, inventory management, and supplier-buyer relationships. Improve efficiency, quality, and reliability of procurement and asset delivery. Knowledgeable in US Federal Government contracting regulations and requirements. Formulate plans to ensure compliance with federal contracting regulations. Strong experience in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

Experience/Skills:

• Deep knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, supplier management, and data center construction.
• Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills using data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field; master’s degree a plus.
• 8-10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management.
