Position Overview

CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and enterprise platform engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerized environments, cloud networking, and scripting.

This position requires a technically strong engineer who can automate deployments, manage cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot platform issues, and improve the reliability and scalability of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments and infrastructure updates.

• Configure, deploy, and support AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Manage cloud compute, storage, identity and access management (IAM), API gateways, and related services.

• Work with AWS EventBridge and event-driven cloud services.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Amazon ECS, and AWS Fargate.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.

• Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking, including VPCs, Application Load Balancers (ALBs), firewalls, and security groups.

• Implement DevOps automation using Azure DevOps and related tools.

• Configure monitoring, logging, and observability using Amazon CloudWatch and Azure Monitor.

• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.

• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and platform performance issues.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams in an Agile environment.

• Support platform reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and services.

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with AWS EventBridge and related cloud services.

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Amazon ECS, and AWS Fargate.

• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

• Knowledge of cloud networking, including VPCs, ALBs, firewalls, and security groups.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile processes, and deployment automation.

• Experience with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar observability tools.

• Strong scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.

• Familiarity with FastAPI or Python-based service development.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud environments.

• Knowledge of cloud security, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability best practices.
