CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an accomplished SAP S/4HANA Quality & Testing Program Lead to provide strategic leadership for the quality assurance and testing workstream of a large-scale global SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation.
This is a senior program leadership opportunity for someone who has successfully built and led enterprise SAP testing organizations across complex transformation programs. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP delivery experience with strong quality engineering, testing governance, executive communication, and cross-functional program leadership.
We are particularly interested in professionals who have supported Fashion, Apparel, Retail, Consumer Products, CPG, or Manufacturing environments, where complex order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, supply chain, merchandising, inventory, finance, integrations, and high transaction volumes create significant testing complexity.
What You’ll Lead
You will own the overall Quality and Testing strategy across the SAP transformation, ensuring business processes, integrations, data, applications, and technical components are fully validated before production deployment.
You will serve as both a delivery leader and trusted advisor, working across business leadership, SAP functional teams, technical teams, integration partners, testing organizations, and executive stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who has owned quality for a major SAP transformation, understands how business processes move across multiple SAP modules and integrated systems, can determine where program risk is developing, and has the executive presence to drive corrective action.
You should be equally comfortable discussing a defect backlog with a testing organization, challenging a functional team on inadequate coverage, evaluating release readiness with program leadership, and presenting quality risk to executives.

This opportunity supports a distributed U.S.-based transformation program operating primarily within Eastern Time business hours.
The role offers a combination of remote and hybrid work with periodic travel to New Jersey based on major program milestones, workshops, testing cycles, and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end SAP Quality Assurance and Testing program across a global ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation.
- Develop and govern the enterprise testing strategy, methodology, standards, schedules, entry/exit criteria, and release-readiness framework.
- Lead planning and execution across:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- End-to-End Business Process Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- Performance and Volume Testing
- Cutover and Deployment Validation
- Establish traceability between business requirements, SAP configurations, integrations, test scenarios, test cases, defects, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate testing across SAP functional workstreams, business teams, integration platforms, data migration teams, third-party applications, and external partners.
- Lead distributed testing teams and drive accountability across internal teams, consulting partners, system integrators, and testing vendors.
- Establish and manage testing governance, KPIs, dashboards, defect metrics, quality gates, and executive-level reporting.
- Lead defect triage and prioritization while ensuring critical issues receive appropriate ownership, escalation, and resolution.
- Identify quality risks, testing gaps, cross-functional dependencies, and program threats before they impact major milestones.
- Conduct readiness assessments and provide fact-based recommendations regarding deployment, cutover, and production readiness.
- Partner with program leadership to ensure testing activities remain aligned with the integrated program plan and critical path.
- Present quality status, risks, trends, decisions, and recommendations to senior executives and steering committees.
- Drive continuous improvement across testing processes, automation opportunities, governance, and overall delivery quality.
- 10+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise technology or SAP transformation programs.
- Significant experience leading SAP testing, quality assurance, or program delivery within large implementations.
- Direct experience supporting SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations or transformations.
- Strong understanding of SAP implementation lifecycles, environments, transports, integrations, data conversion, cutover, and production readiness.
- Experience operating within complex multi-workstream SAP programs involving business, functional, technical, integration, and data teams.
