IT Mobility Support Technician
Location: Onsite **Only accepting local candidates to Ft. Worth TX and no 3rd party candidates will be accepted**
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00PM
Contract: 6 Months

Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Mobility Support Technician to provide operational, technical, and administrative support for an enterprise Mobility team.

This position supports the complete lifecycle of mobile devices and cellular services, including device preparation and deployment, activations, replacements, carrier coordination, inventory reconciliation, ticket management, and maintenance of accurate device and service records.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology and data, and able to independently coordinate multiple requests from intake through completion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support mobile device and cellular service requests from intake through completion.
  • Prepare, configure, fulfill, and coordinate deployment of mobile devices.
  • Process cellular activations, service changes, device swaps, replacements, and refreshes.
  • Coordinate directly with employees, departments, technical teams, carriers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Manage tickets, tasks, scheduling, and service-request activities.
  • Maintain accurate records for:
    • Mobile devices
    • Cellular lines
    • IMEIs
    • Inventory
    • Service assignments
    • Activations and changes
  • Reconcile information across internal Mobility records, carrier systems, ticketing tools, inventory records, and MDM platforms.
  • Identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate information and assist with corrective actions.
  • Support device refresh, replacement, lifecycle, and cybersecurity compliance initiatives.
  • Assist with cellular-line reviews, service optimization, and carrier administration.
  • Support public safety mobility, fleet devices, IoT, private APN, and other cellular-connected technologies.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, knowledge-base articles, reference materials, and operational documentation.
  • Track operational metrics and support reporting.
  • Help standardize Mobility processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, governance, visibility, and service continuity.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of administrative support experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent tasks and service requests.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating with customers, technical teams, vendors, or service providers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability to maintain and reconcile detailed operational and inventory records.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies across multiple systems or data sources.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to follow established technical and administrative procedures.
  • Ability to quickly learn specialized mobility, carrier, ticketing, and device-management systems.
Preferred Experience
Approximately 2–4 years of experience supporting IT, telecommunications, enterprise mobility, device management, or a similar technology environment is preferred.

An associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Technical Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
