CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking an experienced Financial Crimes UAT & Business Systems Consultant to support a major financial-services organization as it enhances the technology, data, and workflows used by Financial Crimes Compliance and investigative teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior financial-crimes professional who understands both how investigators work and how technology should support them.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience within BSA/AML, Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), transaction monitoring, sanctions, KYC, fraud, or regulatory compliance environments and can translate investigator and compliance needs into clear business requirements, test scenarios, data validations, and technology improvements.
You will work closely with Financial Crimes stakeholders, technology teams, product owners, data teams, and investigators to validate enhancements to a case-management and investigative platform, ensuring new functionality, data, workflows, and automation perform as intended before being released to users.

What You’ll Do Financial Crimes Business Analysis

Partner directly with Financial Crimes Compliance, investigations, operations, and technology stakeholders to understand current investigative workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.

Translate investigator, compliance, and regulatory needs into detailed business requirements, functional requirements, data requirements, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.

Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enhancements to financial-crimes case-management and investigative platforms.

Develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and acceptance criteria based on business requirements and investigator workflows.

Execute and coordinate testing across business, data, and technology teams.

Document test results, defects, exceptions, and business impacts.
-
Track defects through remediation and retesting to final acceptance.

Perform positive, negative, boundary, regression, and end-to-end testing where appropriate.

Validate that system behavior, investigative workflows, alerts, cases, and underlying data meet documented requirements.

Support testing of transaction-monitoring rules, thresholds, scenarios, and related data where applicable.

Analyze investigative and transactional data to determine whether platform functionality is producing accurate and usable results.

Validate data mappings, source-to-target logic, calculations, field-level results, and downstream outputs.

Partner with technical teams on solutions that improve investigator efficiency, including:

Automated data retrieval

Investigator data pre-fetch capabilities

Workflow automation

Case enrichment
-
Reporting and dashboards

Data-quality improvements

Use querying, reporting, or analytical tools to research discrepancies and validate test results.

Identify opportunities to reduce manual investigator effort while maintaining strong compliance controls.
