Position Overview

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to design and develop scalable analytics, reporting, and data solutions in a modern AWS environment.
This is a hands-on position for someone who combines strong Tableau development, advanced SQL, AWS cloud technologies, and data warehousing expertise. You will work directly with business and technology teams to transform complex datasets into reliable, actionable insights and executive-ready reporting.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions.
- Develop and optimize data models, reporting architectures, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Build and maintain data pipelines within AWS.
- Integrate data from databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Support data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and implementation.
- Develop advanced SQL queries and optimize reporting performance.
- Monitor and improve Tableau dashboard and underlying query performance.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Establish and support data-quality and governance practices.
- Document data flows, business rules, models, and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve analytics capabilities.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Experience developing BI and analytics solutions within AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
