Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support to employees while assisting with the administration of core corporate IT systems.
This position will support a Windows-based environment with responsibilities spanning end-user support, Microsoft 365 administration, identity and access management, endpoint management, IT assets, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate takes ownership of technical issues through resolution, communicates proactively, and enjoys working directly with end users in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for internal IT support, troubleshooting Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, authentication and access issues, hardware, peripherals, connectivity, and enterprise applications.

Provide responsive in-person technical support for employees and executives, including workstations, conference rooms, and office technology.

Manage IT support requests through a ticketing system, including prioritization, documentation, escalation, follow-through, and resolution.

Handle employee onboarding, offboarding, access changes, and user administration across Microsoft and other enterprise applications.

Administer corporate endpoints using Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, configuration, application deployment, compliance, patching, security settings, and Windows Autopilot.

Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, groups, licenses, permissions, and supported SaaS applications.

Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.

Maintain accurate IT asset, software, identity, and license records throughout their lifecycle.

Maintain technical procedures and knowledge-base documentation while identifying opportunities to improve or automate recurring IT processes.

Follow established change-management and information-security procedures.

Proactively communicate status, blockers, and risks while ensuring priority support issues receive appropriate attention.
Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting end users in a Windows-based corporate IT environment.

Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Entra ID, and endpoint management.

Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, authentication, basic networking, hardware, peripherals, and enterprise applications.

Understanding of information-security fundamentals including MFA, least privilege, endpoint security, encryption, patching, and access control.

Strong communication, documentation, organization, and task-management skills.

Ability to independently investigate and resolve technical issues while escalating appropriately.

Strong initiative, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Ability to regularly work onsite in Addison, TX and assist with workstation and office IT equipment setup as needed.
Preferred Experience

Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.

Executive or white-glove technical support.

Conference room and collaboration technology support.

Jira and Confluence.

Experience supporting healthcare, HIPAA-regulated, SOC 2, or other security-conscious environments.

Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA, or comparable industry certifications.
