We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Data Analyst to turn complex supply chain data into actionable insights that improve forecasting, inventory, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
This position is ideal for an analytical professional who understands the realities of both manufacturing and distribution environments and can combine supply chain knowledge with strong data and reporting skills.
The Supply Chain Data Analyst will partner with Demand Planning, Sales, Operations, Service, IT, and other business teams to improve demand forecasts, support inventory decisions, identify operational trends, and develop reporting that helps the organization make better supply chain decisions.

The Supply Chain Data Analyst will partner with Demand Planning, Sales, Operations, Service, IT, and other business teams to improve demand forecasts, support inventory decisions, identify operational trends, and develop reporting that helps the organization make better supply chain decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret supply chain data from ERP and other business systems.
- Develop and improve statistical demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and business intelligence.
- Partner with the Demand Planning team to improve forecast accuracy and product availability.
- Participate in the monthly Executive, Sales & Operations Planning (ESOP) process.
- Analyze inventory availability and inventory turns to support effective supply and demand planning.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Identify trends and anomalies involving:
- Demand and revenue forecasts
- Material supply
- Inventory
- Supplier performance
- Procurement and costs
- Conduct root-cause analysis of supply chain disruptions and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Work with IT and business teams to improve data integrity, reporting, and information availability.
- Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
- Continuously improve analytical capabilities, including SQL, statistical analysis, coding, and other advanced analytics techniques.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, materials planning, sourcing, demand planning, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on supply chain experience within both manufacturing and distribution environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, STEM, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, demand planning, inventory, and ERP/MRP processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to different levels of the organization.
- SQL and/or Python experience.
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or comparable ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and demand forecasting techniques.
- John Galt Atlas experience.
- Experience supporting ESOP/S&OP processes.
- Experience with data quality, supplier performance, inventory optimization, and forecasting analytics.
