Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead – SRE & Platform Engineering to provide hands-on technical leadership across enterprise cloud infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, observability, automation, web application security, and platform operations.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer, architect, or technical lead who enjoys solving complex production issues, mentoring engineers, establishing technical standards, and influencing architecture while remaining hands-on.

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead – SRE & Platform Engineering to provide hands-on technical leadership across enterprise cloud infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, observability, automation, web application security, and platform operations.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer, architect, or technical lead who enjoys solving complex production issues, mentoring engineers, establishing technical standards, and influencing architecture while remaining hands-on.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across Site Reliability Engineering and Platform Engineering.
- Establish standards for availability, scalability, resiliency, performance, and operational excellence.
- Define and drive adoption of SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
- Serve as a technical owner for enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
- Support APM, infrastructure monitoring, synthetic monitoring, RUM, centralized logging, and distributed tracing.
- Lead AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes/EKS engineering initiatives.
- Design and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
- Support DNS, CDN, SSL/TLS certificates, load balancing, and domain-management services.
- Administer and optimize AWS WAF and related web application security technologies.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues involving APIs, DNS, CDN, WAF, networking, cloud infrastructure, and application performance.
- Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve platform reliability.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across multiple disciplines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide leadership during major incidents.
- 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, web technologies, or platform services.
- 3+ years serving as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, Architect, or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- AWS
- Terraform
- Kubernetes / EKS
- DNS
- CDN technologies
- AWS WAF
- SSL/TLS
- CI/CD
- Monitoring and observability platforms
- SRE practices
- Experience troubleshooting large-scale, customer-facing web applications.
- Strong understanding of incident management, application availability, performance, and reliability engineering.
- Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction without direct management authority.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing global domain portfolios and certificate lifecycles.
- Experience with enterprise observability platforms and distributed global support models.
- Experience building enterprise Infrastructure-as-Code standards and reusable Terraform modules.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as:
- GitHub Copilot
- Microsoft Copilot
- Claude Code
- Cursor
- Amazon Q Developer
- AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, SRE, networking, security, or cloud certifications.
