What You'll Do
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable Python applications
- Build and support REST and SOAP API integrations
- Develop backend services using Flask
- Process and analyze structured datasets using pandas
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of new application features
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices
- Create technical documentation and maintain development processes
- Follow security and data privacy best practices
- Utilize Git for source control
- Support AI prompting initiatives and Large Language Model (LLM) projects
- Experience developing applications in Python
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Familiarity with SOAP web services
- Experience with Git version control
- Experience using pandas for data manipulation
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with Flask
- Familiarity with IIS
- Exposure to AI tools, prompt engineering, or Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry
- Backend application development experience
- Personal, academic, or professional API development experience
- Opportunity to convert to a full-time position after six months
