Systems Analyst III – Data Integration & Business Analysis
Location: Austin, TX (Primarily Remote/Telework - Must reside in TX, AZ, KY, TN, GA, SC, NC, FL)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Standard Business Hours

We're seeking a senior-level Systems Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business analysis, data strategy, and system integration.

What You'll Do
- Lead discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders to capture complex business, functional, and data requirements.
- Analyze enterprise data environments and create comprehensive data maps documenting systems, ownership, integrations, dependencies, and data flows.
- Design data integration strategies that improve interoperability, accessibility, governance, and long-term maintainability.
- Assess data quality, identify inconsistencies and gaps, and recommend data validation and cleansing approaches.
- Translate business objectives into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, wireframes, and system documentation.
- Document APIs, ETL processes, system integrations, and end-to-end data movement across enterprise applications.
- Partner with developers, architects, product owners, and business leaders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support vendor implementation efforts by producing clear, complete, implementation-ready documentation.
- Help drive continuous improvement of business processes, reporting, and enterprise data management practices.
- 8+ years of business requirements gathering and functional requirements documentation.
- 8+ years of business process analysis and process mapping.
- 8+ years working with enterprise data mapping, data analysis, data governance, and data integration.
- Experience documenting system integrations, APIs, ETL workflows, and enterprise data flows.
- Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing complex datasets.
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Modern Requirements, or comparable requirements management tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
- Experience with Ed-Fi or similar enterprise data interoperability standards.
- Experience supporting large public sector, education, healthcare, or highly regulated organizations.
- Experience creating wireframes, process diagrams, and vendor-ready technical documentation.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance and master data management concepts.
