Location: Onsite in Ft. Worth, TX (Travel Required Throughout Fort Worth)
Position Type: Contract (12 Months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Support Technician I to assist with enterprise Audio/Visual (AV) asset inventory, auditing, and data collection across multiple locations.
This role is ideal for an entry-level IT support professional with strong organizational skills and basic technical knowledge of computers and AV equipment. The successful candidate will travel daily to various facilities to inventory AV assets, collect equipment information, and maintain accurate records within enterprise asset management systems.

Key Responsibilities AV Asset Inventory & Auditing
- Perform physical inventory and auditing of audio/visual equipment across 200+ locations
- Verify asset information and update inventory records
- Document equipment details, serial numbers, locations, and asset conditions
- Ensure inventory data is complete, accurate, and up to date
- Coordinate with department representatives to schedule inventory visits
- Travel daily to assigned locations to perform asset verification and data collection
- Maintain professional communication with onsite personnel during inventory activities
- Utilize mobile devices, tablets, or other digital tools to record inventory information
- Document completed work within ticketing or asset management systems
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and identification of AV equipment when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
- Identify and inventory equipment including:
- Cisco Room Kits
- Crestron systems
- Extron equipment
- BIAMP devices
- Q-SYS audio systems
- Other conference room and collaboration technologies
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of computer-related or IT support experience
- Basic knowledge of:
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Mobile devices and tablets
- Experience using ticketing systems or work order management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel daily to multiple work locations
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Experience supporting AV or conference room technologies
- Familiarity with:
- Cisco Room Kits
- Crestron
- Extron
- BIAMP
- Q-SYS
- Experience performing IT asset inventory or hardware audits
Work Environment
- 100% onsite
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Daily travel to multiple locations (200+ facilities)
- Mileage reimbursement provided
- Frequent walking and movement between sites
- Occasional lifting and transporting of IT or AV equipment
Additional Requirements
- Must successfully pass a CJIS Criminal Background Check
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable driving daily between multiple work locations
- Strong customer service and professionalism required when interacting with department staff
